Ingredients

  • 3 cups pomegranate juice, such as Pom
  • 1 cup pear nectar
  • ½ cup orange flavored liqueur, like Grand Marnier
  • 2 bottles (750ml) champagne (you could also use prosecco, a less expensive but equally tasty substitute for champagne)
  • 1 cup of mayonnaise, not light or low-fat
  • 1 ½ cups of freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup of finely chopped white or yellow onion
  • 1 loaf of thin cut sliced white bread
  • In a mixing bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, cheese, and onion.
  • Spoon a little dollop of the cheese mixture onto each square and place them
  • on a cookie sheet.
  • Cook under the broiler (on the highest setting) for about 5 minutes, or until
  • the puffs are browning and bubbly.
  • 1 large bag of mini pretzels, square shaped are the best
  • 1 large bag of Rolos
  • 1 bag of pecans
