  • 3 cups water
  • 3 cloves garlic (mashed)
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice

Directions

Soak dried fava overnight then boil in 3 cups of water until mushy. Place fava and all the rest of the ingredients in a blender (or mix well by hand) and pour into two deep platters. When set, cut into squares and serve with olives and parsley as garnish.
