  • ¼ teaspoons carom seeds
  • 1 tsp. Dried ginger or 2-3 slices of fresh gingerroot
  • 1 tsp. Ground cinnamon
  • 1 black cardamom pod
  • Seeds from 25 green cardamom pods
  • 4 cloves
  • ½ tsp. Fennel seeds
  • 1-2 teaspoons of loose tea or a tea bag (any kind of tea will work, I like black or [[green tea].

  • 1 cup of milk

Directions

First grind ingredients (don’t grind fresh ginger)

In a pot bring water to a boil.

Add spices (and fresh ginger slices if using) and simmer for 5 min.

Add the tea.

Boil for 1 min. then add milk and boil once more.

Strain into a cup

Serve with honey or sugar to taste.
