Ingredients
- 1 liter water
- 200 gm pearl barley
- 2 liter milk
- 2 tablespoon butter
- salt (to taste)
Directions
1. Wash the barley and soak about 2-4 hours.
2. Put into a pot together with the soak water and bring to a boil. Cook at a low temperature.
3. When the barley is soft add the butter and milk.
4. Season with salt and then for few minutes.
Serve as a first dish or with jam as a dessert.
