Ingredients
- 4 c. hot cooked corn meal mush
- pinch "malaguette", oregano or marjoram
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 6 cloves
- 1 c. chopped pepper
- 1/4 c. grated cheese
- 2 c. chopped tomatoes
- 1/2 c. milk (optional)
- 1 Tbs. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped parsley
- 3 Tbs. oil
Directions
Gently fry onion and pepper in oil.
Add tomatoes and spices and simmer 10 minutes.
Pour cooked mush into this mixture.
Stir and pour in buttered pan or oven dish.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake about 20 minutes in hot oven.(450 degrees)
