  • 300gr plain flour
  • 175gr flaked butter or margarine
  • 150gr sugar
  • 2 teasp. cinnamon
  • 75gr coarse sugar
  • 50gr almond flakes
  • 1 egg white

Directions

Mix the flour, sugar, cinnamon and flaked butter.

Knead until it becomes a smooth dough. Put in the fridge for 45 minutes to harden.

Grease a baking sheet, rol the dough onto it. Brush with beaten egg white and sprinkle with the coarse sugar and almond flakes.

Cut into rectangular biscuits and put the sheet in the oven at 200C until golden brown.

After cooling break the biscuits along the cut lines.
