Ingredients

  • Fish (white boneless fish) - 2 kg
  • Water - 1-2 liters
  • Sugar - 1-1,5 kg
  • Cinnamon - to taste
  • Citric acid - 1 tsp

Directions

Place fish slices in a saucepan with a heavy bottom, pouring the sugar over them.

Allow standing for the night.

The next morning, pour the water into the pot and put on the fire, and cook for around 20 minutes.

Then take it off the fire, allow it to cold down, and mash it a bit.

Repeat 2 more times.

At the very end to bring to a boil, add the Cinnamon (to can add coriander too) and citric acid.

When hot, place in sterilized cans and seal.
