Ingredients
- 1 pound (450 g ) lean ground hamburger meat
- 3–4 cups mashed potatoes
- 12 oz (341 ml or 1 can) creamed corn
- Salt , pepper , and butter to taste
- 1–2 cups shredded Cheddar or Mexican blend cheese (optional, amount depends on how much cheese you want)
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C)
In a large skillet , brown the hamburger meat until it is no longer pink
In a medium baking pan , evenly layer the meat on the bottom, then corn. Spread a layer of potatoes.
If using, sprinkle cheese on top.
Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
