One cupful of corn meal. One and one-half tablespoonfuls Two teaspoonfuls baking powder, of melted butter.
Separate the eggs and beat the yolks unlil creamy; sift the flour meal, salt and baking-powder together; add the beaten yolks and part of the milk and stir to a smooth batter; add the remainder of the milk and the melted butter; lastly add the whipped whites of the eggs; bake half an hour in a moderate oven.
