Two cups of hot grits. Cook until, half done. One and one- half tablespoonfuls of butter, 3 eggs, \y2 pints of milk, 1 cup of white corn meal, 1 teaspoonful of salt, 1 teaspoonful of baking powder, y2 cup of grits before cooking, will make this amount, baked three-quarters of an hour.
