Directions
One pound fresh fat pork chopped as fine as can be ; pour over the pork one cup boiling water, then add one cup brown sugar, one pound currants, one cup molasses, one pound raisins, one teaspoon soda dissolved in hot water, one teaspoon cinnamon, one teaspoon cloves, one egg, four cups flour.
