DATE CAKE — Seven eggs, two teaspoons baking powder, one cup sugar, one pound dates, one-half pound nuts. Beat the whites stiff, add sugar gradually, then the beaten yolks. Mix the baking powder with the nuts. Bake one hour. Serve with whipped cream on top.
