One and one-half coffee-cups of sour milk, one cup corn meal, one-half cup flour, one-half cup molasses, two eggs, piece of lard the size of an ^^■g., one teaspoon of soda dissolved in the milk. Pour into a tin pail and cover. Place it in a pot of boiling water, and cook three hours. This is very nice without eggs.
