Six crackers, soaked in one quart of milk, one cup suet, one cup raisins, one cup sugar, and the yolks of four eggs; salt, and flavor with cinnamon; bake an hour and a half ; beat the whites of four eggs with one cup of powdered sugar and set into the oven to brown. Make the sauce as follows: Two cups sugar, melted to a syrup, the juice of a lemon and the white of an ^^^.^ beartento a froth.
