- 2 heaping teaspoons of baking powder
Directions

Mix together 21/2 cups of corn meal, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1 scant tea- spoon salt and 1 tablespoon of flour. Beat together 2 eggs, add 1 1-3 cups of milk, and stir into the dry mixture, add 2 tablespoons of melted butter and beat well. Stir in 2 heaping teaspoons of baking powder and pour into a well greased pan. Bake twenty minutes.
