- one cup flour
- one half teaspoon salt
- one half cup milk
- one tablespoon olive oil
- two tablespoons sugar
- three tablespoons orange juice
- twelve ears of corn grated
- four eggs
- two eggs till light
- one fourth lemon
- six bananas
Directions
Twelve ears of corn grated, or scraped, four eggs, two tablespoonfuls of flour, a little salt. Flour stiff enough to drop in hot fat. Can be fried on griddle.

Sift together one cup flour, one* tablespoon sugar, and one half teaspoon salt. Beat two eggs till light, add one half cup milk. Add to dry in- gredients and beat well, with one tablespoon olive oil and grated rind one fourth lemon. Pare six bananas, cut each in two and split each half . Place in a bowl and cover with two tablespoons sugar, and three tablespoons orange juice. Let stand one hour. Dip each piece of banana in the batter and fry in deep fat.
