Ingredients

  • 1 cup strong boiling coffee
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 pint cream whipped
  • 2 tablespoons caramel

Directions

Cover ^ box gelatin with cold water and let soak i hour. Then add 1 cup strong boiling coffee ; add 1 cup sugar and stir till dissolved. Strain and let .stand till cool. Then add 1 cup milk and 1 pint cream whipped ; mix well, turn into a mould and set in a cold place to harden.

Caramel Bavarian Cream is made as above using double the quantity of milk, 2 tablespoons caramel, and J cup sherry in place of the coffee.
