Stew and strain apples enough for 1 pie. Add 1 tablespoon thick cream. I well beaten egg, sugar and nutmeg to taste. Fill a paste lined pan and bake. Cover with a meringue of white of egg and pulverized sugar, flavored with lemon, and brown.
