Directions

1 cup sugar, i cup butter, \ cup cocoa, ^ cup water, 1 cup flour, 3 eggs, 3 teaspoons baking powder, 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
Mix as usual, adding cinnamon and cocoa last. Bake in gem pans.

Bake in a loaf cake pan.

J cup butter, 2 scant cups sugar, yolks of 4 eggs, whites of 2, 1 cup milk, 3^ cups flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder.
Bake in layers. Cover with boiled icing and sprinkle with cocoanut.
