  • 1 pint of juice 1 pound of sugar
  • 1 pound of sugar
  • 2 ounce of ground cinnamon

  • 2 wineglass of brandy

Directions

Heat and squeeze the berries. Add to 1 pint of juice 1 pound of sugar, ^2 ounce of ground cinnamon, % ounce of ground mace, and 2 teaspoons of cloves. Boil all for 15 minutes. Strain, and to each pint add r/2 wineglass of brandy. Excellent for children when teething, with the brandy omitted.
