Directions
1 pint milk (scalded) 2 tablespoonfuls sugar
2 tablespoonfuls butter Vi yeast cake
A little salt Make a thick batter and let it rise over night. In the morning add a ver3^ little soda dissolved in milk. Knead 15 or 20 minutes, Let it rise, then roll out and cut with a biscuit cutter, brush over with melted butter and fold. Let them rise until very light, bake 20 minutes in a brisk oven. Brush them with melted butter after removing from the oven.
