One can of grated pineapple, one pint of sugar, one pint of water ; pour over the sugar and let it dissolve ; strain and freeze. Mrs. R. B. Clark.

To one quart of grated pineapple, add one and one- fourth pound of sugar and one pint of water ; beat the whites of two eggs to a stiff froth ; add the above to the eggs little by little, beating well to make them mix ; strain and freeze.
