Ingredients
- 2 quarts of lemonade
- 1 tablespoonful of the extract of lemon
- 1/2 pint of cognac
- 1/2 pint jamaica rum
- half ice
Directions
Make 2 quarts of lemonade, rich with the pure juice of lemon and add to this 1 tablespoonful of the extract of lemon; work this well and freeze; just before serving up and for each quart of the ice 1/2 pint of cognac and 1/2 pint Jamaica rum. Mix well and serve in high glasses, as this makes what is called a semi or half ice. It is usually served at dinners as a coup d'milieu.
