- 1/2 lb mashed potato
- 1/2 lb plain flour
- milk

In a bowl, mix the grate and mashed potatoes. Add salt, pepper and flour. Add egg and enough milk to make batter that will drop from a spoon. Scoop tablespoonfuls and drop one by one on a hot griddle or frying pan. Cook for 4 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Serve with apple sauce.
