Ingredients
- 1/2 cup dried lentils
- 2 or 3 tablespoons oil
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon salt
- 1+1/2 cups water
- 3/4 cup good rice
Directions
Wash the dried lentils and soak them for two hours. Drain.
Bring the water, salt, and oil to a boil in a saucepan.
Add the rice and the soaked lentils.
Cover the saucepan tightly and reduce heat to low.
Come back in twenty minutes, not before.
