Ingredients
- 6 seedless rye bread slices
- Butter
- 24 medium shrimp, cooked and chilled
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1-2 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped
- Butter Lettuce, coarsely chopped (I used Napa Cabbage this time)
- Salmon roe caviar
Directions
Heat a griddle on medium-high heat. Butter the bread slices on both sides.
Toast on a griddle for 1-2 minutes per side or until the toasts turn golden brown.
Meanwhile, mix shrimp, lemon juice, Mayonnaise, and dill in a bowl.
Top the toasts with the butter lettuce, shrimp mixture (about 4 shrimp per toast) and top each toast a teaspoon of caviar.
