Ingredients

  • ¼ cup pinto beans
  • ¼ cup northern beans
  • ¼ cup black beans
  • ¼ cup lentils
  • ½ pound Italian sausage, crumbled
  • 8 cups of water
  • 2 cups of tomato or spaghetti sauce

Directions

Cover beans with water, and soak overnight.

Drain beans.

Brown crumbled sausage in large pan.

Add beans, water and tomato or spaghetti sauce and seasoning packet.

Stir well, and bring to simmering, cover and cook for an hour and ½ until beans are tender.

Stir occasionally.
