1 pt. blueberries; 1 cup sugar, \ cup butter; 3§ cups flour; 2 eggs; \ tsp soda; 1 tsp. cream tartar, or 2 tsp. baking powder. Harriet C. Dodge.

2 eggs; \ cup sugar; 2 tbs. butter; 1 cup sweet milk; 3 tsp. baking powder; 1J cups flour; f cup cornmeal; a little salt. Should not be much thicker than sponge cake.

GRAHAM MUFFINS. 1 cup graham flour; 1 cup wheat flour; 1 cup sweet milk; \ cup sugar (scant); 1 egg; 3 tsp. baking powder. Bake in well buttered tins and moderately hot oven. Use same recipe with 2 cups wheat flour or 1 cup corn meal and 1 of wheat flour. Mrs. N. S. Davis.

OAT MEAL WAFERS. \\ cups oat meal; \ cup prepared cocoanut; 1 level tsp. salt; 1 level tsp. baking powder; 1 cup sugar; 2 eggs well beaten, then add 1 tbs. melted butter. Drop \ tsp. on buttered tins about 4 inches apart. Leave 1 minute on tin after taking from oven. Do not allow to cool or they will break. Mrs. Longsdorf.

WAFFLES— EXCELLENT. Beat 1 egg light, add 1 pt. milk; 1 pt. flour; 2 rounding tsp. baking powder; 1 tbs. melted butter, f tsp. salt.
