Directions
Cut pie-plant into_lower crust; 1 egg; 2 heaping tablespoons of flour; 1 cup of sugar; 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Mix all together, pour on crust, and add upper crust. Mrs. Jared Chaddook.
PUMPKIN PIE. Two cups sifted pumpkin; 3 cups of milk; 1 large cup of sugar; half a cup of molasses; 1 tablespoon of flour; a pinch of salt; 1 table spoon of ginger; 2 eggs; 1 tablespoon of cinnamon. Mix sugar, flour and spices together to prevent lumping. Will make 2 good sized pies.

EGGLESS PUMPKIN PIE (FOE ONE DEEP PIE). One large cup of pumpkin; 1 small cup of sugar; t small cups of milk; 1 tablespoon of fiour; half a teaspoon of ginger (if liked) ; half a teaspoon of cinnamon; salt to taste. Stir sugar, spice, flour and pump- kin until smooth; then add hot milk and bake slowly 1 hour, increasing heat at the last half hour so as to brown slightly.
