Two cups stale cake crumbs softened in y CUP hot milk. Add to softened crumbs :
1 well-beaten egg. % cup sugar.
34 cup molasses. 34 cup stewed prunes.
24 cup chopped raisins. 2 teaspoons mixed spices,
34 teaspoon soda. ]/2 teaspoon salt.
2 teaspoons lemon juice. ]/\ cup flour.
Bake in a moderate oven 45 minutes.
