- 1/2 lb fresh or frozen fruit of your choice (suggestions include strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, peaches, pineapple or any combination thereof)

- 3 tbsp arrowroot powder
- 6 tbsp maple syrup

Directions
Heat the fruit in half the water and mash them as they heat (or you can slice them up prior to heating). Mix the remaining water thoroughly with the arrowroot powder, making sure there are no lumps. Add the arrowroot mixture and sweetener to the fruit and stir constantly over medium heat until the sauce thickens and becomes brightly coloured. Chill and serve.
