Make same dough as for strawberry short-cake, divide into twelve pieces, roll each one out separately, peel and core twelve medium-sized apples, fill the centers with sugar and grate a little nutmeg on each apple, wrap each one in dough,

bake one hour, or steam one hour and a quarter. Very nice made with whole, peeled, clingstone peaches.- Serve with any desired sauce.
